About Me:
Currently I am persuing new business opportunities in alternative energy and green lighting technology. Previously, I was co-founder and CEO of Gecko Energy Technologies where I commercialized Gecko’s PowerSkin™ fuel cell technology. Previously I was at Motorola where I managed projects in portable fuel cells, sensors, and materials science. I received a doctorate in Solid State Physics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where I developed and studied novel electronic materials. I have over 25 issued U.S patents and published over 48 papers in refereed scientific journals in addition to numerous presentations and invited talks at national and international conferences. I am also an ASQ and Motorola certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the Materials Research Society, IEEE, and American Society of Quality.
